About Flatland

Flatland is a feature film adaptation of the 1884 novel by Edwin A. Abbott. It has gathered critical acclaim from Film Threat, Scifi.com, and more.

It is the creation of indie filmmaker Ladd P. Ehlinger Jr., who directed, animated and edited the entire film personally.

In 2007 a Special Pre-Release Edition DVD version (autographed and sold by the filmmaker directly to the public), made its debut.

This edition was so successful (critically and financially) that a new theatrical and remastered DVD version is now slated for release in fourth quarter 2008, with producer Frank Vitolo working with Ladd to enhance the film even further. Stay tuned for more details!
